Stayed at nerf wars like 2.5 hours longer than I should have--after the point at which I had stopped having fun, although I probably should have left earlier than that.
Specifically, after I got shot by like 5 people at point blank, I turned around and some random guy with a ginormous arrow bazooka did the same, hitting me in the right side of my head from 3 feet away...next thing I knew I yelled at a random person in complete anger for the first time in 11 years, haha. I laugh, but that kinda bothers me too. I did overreact, and I should have apologized.
Later I saw someone angry about something, and i talked to her for a bit to try to calm her down--didn't have much luck, as it was much like trying to talk to me when I'm annoyed, but I tried. Then later, at like 3amish we were on opposite sides in a timed game--I hadn't realized that the time limit was up and everyone was walking back because of where I was, or something...my hearing is bad when I'm tired, so that might have been it too. But anyways I come out of my spot, knowing I'm like the last guy on my corner, turn around the corner to fire and it just so happens to be her--apparently my shot at least whizzed by her head, don't know if it hit. I tried to apologize, but she wouldn't have it and just completely blew me off and walked down the hall. All I could do was point out that someone did the same earlier essentially, albeit different circumstances. It bothered me the whole night, and I almost left afterwards but turned around figuring I at least shouldn't completely run away from it.
You know, I'm really not sure how I'm supposed to feel. Seems like lately I keep getting stuck in meaningless fights and arguments, which lead to other frustrations...but for now I think it's starting to take its toll on me.
Fuck.
